The studio
Irregular Formations is a one-person games studio in New Zealand, run by Marty. The name comes from the partisan units of the American Civil War, raised outside the regular army’s lines.
The game
Mosby’s Rangers is a turn-based campaign across Northern Virginia, 1863 to 1865, with raids you ride yourself in first person. Now in development.
Command a detachment of the Civil War’s most notorious guerrillas: ride out at night behind Union lines, empty six revolvers in thirty seconds, and vanish before the dragnet closes.
The first level, Herndon Station, will be free on Steam. More on the game page, on how we work, and on how we handle the history.
